Is your congregation interested in learning more about justice, outreach and mission in the life of the church?
Advocacy 101 is for anyone wanting to learn effective ways to influence policy and legislation in the halls of congress in state and local government.
This is a call action for people of faith to come together and talk about the call of the church to support families, mothers, fathers, daughters, and sons facing issues of poverty, racism and discrimination, and injustice.
By attending this retreat you will gain greater awareness of how our denomination is responding to issues of justice in global, national and local context. You will learn strategies to mobilize Presbyterians as a whole around justice advocacy.
