St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Boulder is looking for a part-time, permanent Director of Family Ministries.
The Director of Family Ministries plays a pivotal role in nurturing the spiritual growth and development of the children and youth of St. Andrew. As the face of the church to our children and youth, the DFM is at the forefront of fostering a deep relationship to God and a meaningful understanding of Christian values and traditions. The Director will collaborate closely with the church leadership to create a vibrant and inclusive environment that encourages exploration of faith and cultivates a lifelong commitment to Jesus.
Qualifications:
A strong commitment to the Christian faith and alignment with the theological principles of the Presbyterian Church.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to express ideas, beliefs, and feelings in a positive, professional manner.
Ability, during worship, to gather youth and children in front of the congregation to conduct “A Word for God’s Children” in ways that engage and even delight the youth, the children, and the congregation.
Strong organizational abilities.
Ability to inspire and work with a team of volunteers.
Schedule Expectations:
• 12-20 hours per week. This is a permanent part time position.
• Sunday attendance and participation is expected during worship and activities.

Highlands Camp Program Director
Highlands Presbyterian Camp & Retreat Center is located 90 miles northwest of Denver at the base of Mt Meeker, near Rocky Mountain National Park. At 8,000 feet elevation, the 285 acres of diverse natural area includes ponderosa pine forest, wetlands, meadows, streams, and mountain vistas that moose, beavers, bees and much more call home. Highlands was founded in 1945 as a summer youth camp. With time it expanded into retreat and adult programming. Over the last three years Highlands has come under new management, with a new leadership structure that includes operations and hospitality services conducted by United Camps, Conferences and Retreats (UCCR). The Candidate
We are seeking a person with spiritual maturity reflecting the character of Christ in both their private and public life. A person with the God given abilities to communicate meaning and insight from Scripture in a way that connects with the congregation and effectively leads to learning, understanding, and application of biblical teachings. A person who will serve as support for the Church Council with the main responsibilities of the pulpit ministry, including; drafting and coordinating the preparation of the Sunday and Special Worship service bulletins, providing pastoral care, including home and hospital visits, community outreach support, available to officiate at weddings, funerals, baptisms and offer regular office hours.

Possess a proficiency in biblical theology and the ability to convey biblical truth to all age groups.
Willingness to engage the local community and support of church’s ministries and missions.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to reflectively listen.
Possess the ability to disciple, teach and shepherd members of the church community.
Maintain a healthy balance of personal growth in the Lord, family life, and ministry life.
The Compensation

Salary range $26,000.00 annually for 20 hours per week.
